Josef Hurt

He was born on April 11, 1881 in Olešnice near Jihlava and died in April 1945 in the Terezín Fortress. Landscape painter and theater director. He studied under S. Sucharda at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. He designs stage sets. He drew his motives from Slovakia, Moravia and Carpathian Ruthenia.
