He was born on 16 November 1895 in Liban and died in 1969. Landscape painter and vedut. Engineer architect. He was a pupil of Professor Preisler at the Academy of Arts and at the Technical University of Prof. Liebscher and Blažíček. Paint mainly landscapes, panoramas from Prague and pictures of Prague streets and corners. Paint pastyly, using brushes and spatulas. He was on study trips in Paris, Berlin, Italy, Cačihrad. He worked as an architect at Ing. V. Nekvasil, later devoted exclusively to painting. (Toman's Dictionary)
